Over the years, thousands of high school and middle school players have benefitted from the basketball coaching instruction of Coach Paul Webb and Coach Eddie Webb.

For 42 years, the Paul Webb All-Star Basketball Team Camp has provided outstanding team
competition while stressing the importance of
hard work and team play in a healthy and
fun-filled environment.

This team camp is the oldest in Virginia. It features three leagues based on age and skill level, with games and a tournament for each league. The college’s campus provides excellent facilities including air-conditioned, indoor courts, dormitories and dining hall.

Also Featuring Coach Josh Merkel!

In addition to Coaches Paul and Eddie Webb, camp staff includes Coach Josh Merkel, Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Randolph-Macon College.

A 2001 graduate of Salisbury State, Coach Merkel enters his third year at the helm for the Yellow Jackets after spending four years directing the program at his alma mater. While there, he enjoyed a 66-41 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in his last year.

In addition, Merkel coached at West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky before joining Randolph-Macon College as an Assistant Coach in 2010-2011. In that season, the Yellow Jackets posted a 25-5 record while winning the ODAC Championship and advancing to postseason play.
